Tpac is supplying precast/prestressed concrete components for the new bridge carrying Lake Pleasant Parkway over the Central Arizona Project (CAP) Canal as part of the City of Peoria’s major transportation improvement program. The project widens Lake Pleasant Parkway to three lanes in each direction while supporting expanded utilities, improved multimodal infrastructure, and long-term growth within the Peoria Innovation Core.
The bridge incorporates eight 97-foot prestressed UBT42 girders and 12 precast deck slabs, providing a durable, high-performance structural system designed for efficient installation and long-term service. Despite significant design revisions between bid and final contract documents, Tpac completed production with zero non-conformance reports while maintaining rigorous quality control, including extended camber monitoring during storage.
Girder erection is complete, and bridge construction continues with utility installation across the structure. Tpac will deliver the remaining deck slabs later this year as work progresses toward completion.
Celebrating 70 years of precast innovation in 2026, Tpac manufactures structural, architectural, and transportation precast systems that help owners and contractors deliver reliable, high-quality infrastructure throughout the Southwest.
