The Clark County Water Reclamation District in Henderson, Nevada utilized 58 insulated architectural shear wall panels that serve as both the primary enclosure and lateral force-resisting system.
The 16-inch-thick composite panels provide continuous insulation without thermal bridging achieving an R-value greater than 18. Custom colors, form liners, acid-etched finishes, and sandblasted surfaces were cast directly into the panels, integrating structure, enclosure, insulation, thermal mass, and architectural finish within a single assembly.
