Superior design

Structural components are load-bearing elements that transfer gravitational or vertical loads from other elements and contribute to the strength and stability of a structure. Essentially any load-bearing element can be made out of composite and non-composite insulated precast, each of which can contain block-outs.

Below are some of our most popular structural products.

structural options

Click on an option below to learn more about our most popular precast/prestressed structural elements:

Balconies

Precast/prestressed concrete balconies can be integrated into the design and erected along with the rest of the structural elements. The sturdiness of the material means balcony designs can have longer spans and less supports than other materials.

Using products like heat tape or thermal balcony breaks in conjunction can increase the R-value and prevent condensation.

beams & columns

Beams and columns made with precast can withhold longer spans with fewer columns Precast is perfect for open floor plans and restricted footprints.

Whether the build requires I-Beams, T-Beams, Raker Beams, or other beams, we can manufacture any beam or column you need. Our pre-construction team can help you incorporate the appropriate elements for every budget and building requirements.

Box Core

EnCon’s unique precast products can be used to create stair cores, elevator shafts or mechanical chases. These elements can be erected quickly, speeding construction time and reducing building cost. The four sided boxes are cast as a single piece in a “box” form. The form is fully adjustable and can include blockouts for doors and windows.

Double Tee

Double Tee precast concrete members are popular with Data Centers and Parking structures. Their excellent load capacity allows for longer deck panels in builds that need uninterrupted interiors.

hollowcore

Hollow-core is a prestressed concrete flat slab containing continuous hollow voids that run throughout its length. This makes hollow-core an ideal building material as it is lighter in weight and lower in cost than conventional cast-in-place concrete. The two most popular applications for hollow-core are floor and roof deck systems.

Insulated wall panels

EnCon’s Insulated Precast Concrete Wall Panels come in a variety of shapes, sizes, reinforcing techniques, and architectural finishes but they all have one thing in common: they are engineered against cracking under all service conditions. This product is designed to meet R-value requirements and to prevent moisture infiltration into the structure for the life of the structure.

Insulated precast products are predominantly used for the exterior building envelope. Wall panels are just one insulated product we offer.

risers & stairs

Precast/prestressed concrete risers and stairs can be part of a core system, offering functional and structural support. stairs and risers can be precast with cut-aways and cast to meet unique or restricted shaping requirements.
